We built the test
we wanted to take.
GripMinds is built by a small Romanian team — engineers and assessment-design specialists. Independent, EU-based, multi-language by construction, and stubborn about plain language.
Our signature
A self-portrait, not a sticker.
A report you actually want to read. Long enough to be useful, short enough to finish in one sitting. Written like one careful person describing another, not like an algorithm describing a market segment.

Our story
Why we started
"Excellence is what you get when you care more than is wise, risk more than seems prudent, dream more than seems realistic, and expect more than feels possible."
— Ronnie Oldham
Every commercial test we tried as customers felt off in one of two directions. The cheap ones were Buzzfeed quizzes dressed up — pretty, short, useless an hour later. The serious ones were paywalled PDFs written for an HR buyer, not for a curious person sitting alone on a Tuesday evening wondering how they think.
"We wanted a report we would re-read in a year — not a sticker we would forget the next morning."
So we built the third option. A premium, plain-language report you actually want to read. Context-honest scores you can trust. A method open enough to be questioned, and writing careful enough to be quoted. GripMinds is what we wished existed when we first went looking.

How we build
Six principles we refuse to compromise on
Every product decision we have made — from the question format to the pricing model — comes back to one of these six.
Patterns, not labels
We refuse to compress a person into a four-letter code, a colour, or an animal. People are texture, not branding. Our reports respect that texture, paragraph by paragraph.
Context-honest by design
You are not the same person across every life context. Our measurements respect that — and so should anything you do with them. We score each context separately and refuse to average them into a single comforting number.
Multilingual on principle
Every supported language is a first-class citizen. Every item, every paragraph, every band description is edited side by side across all languages — not run through a translator and patched.
Pay-once, plain-language
No subscription. No upsell drip. No locked-behind-tier surprises. One transaction, one report, written like a person to a person — yours to keep, share, or hand to a coach.
Pseudonymous by default
We do not require an account, an email or any name to take the test. Every session is opened with a random access token. We do record technical signals (IP, user-agent, device fingerprint) strictly for assessment integrity — under GDPR these count as pseudonymous personal data and we treat them as such: never sold, never shared, never used for marketing.
Human-written, not generated
Every paragraph in your report was written, edited, and approved by a person before any respondent saw it. No AI hallucinations, no auto-generated text, no machine-shuffled fragments — just careful prose, edited side by side across every supported language, by people who care about being precise enough to be quoted.
The point of measuring
What you measure changes what you can shape.
Decades of research show that exceptional performance comes from learned skills, accumulated knowledge and the mind's adaptive capacity — not from innate talent. The point of mapping how you think is not to label what is fixed; it is to make visible what is shapeable.
The manifesto
What we refuse. What we embrace.
We refuse
- Reducing a person to a four-letter code
- Single-number scores that hide every nuance
- Subscriptions, upsell drips, lock-in funnels
- Storing your name next to your answers
- AI-generated reports passed off as written work
- Selling, syndicating, or training on your data
We embrace
- Reading like a person, not an algorithm
- Multi-language as a first-class concern
- Context-honest scoring, every context separate
- Pseudonymous by default, GDPR-conformant
- Human-edited paragraphs, every single one
- Plain language even when the topic is technical
